Born as Moshe Kleinbaum on 6 January 1909 in Radźyn*, Poland
Died 1 March 1972 in Israel.
He was an Israeli politician and military personality. One of the founders of Mapam, the United Workers Party. He later joined the Israeli Communist Party (Maki), and was one of the leaders of a more pro-Israeli split in 1965.
